Reverend Anthony Burrell
12th Pastor

Reverend Anthony Burrell was elected to serve as pastor of Mount Calvary on Wednesday, May 26, 2004. He then began his service In July, 2004.
His accomplishment during his administration:

• Early in his administration, two additional bathrooms were added to the front of the church.

• The church voted to acknowledge the licensure of women ministers in the month of December 2009.

• A quarterly newsletter was generated in March of 2011.

• In the year of 2012, the sanctuary was totally renovated.

• A website and wireless internet connection was created for the church.

• The Prison Ministry was reactivated.

• The Women’s Prison Outreach Ministry was organized.

• A Mission Statement for the church was created.

• A sponsorship of Mitspa Baptist Church in Saint Louis Du Nord, Haiti was established.

• In the year of 2013, he reinstated the Evangelistic program.

• The 3rd edition of the New Members Training class manual was generated.

• A 24 passenger bus was purchased.

Reverend Burrell’s tenure ended on April 12, 2017 after rendering almost 13 years of service.
