Reverend Percy M. Dixon
11th Pastor
Reverend Percy M. Dixon was elected to serve as pastor of
Mount Calvary in September of 1994.
His accomplishment during his administration:
In January 1995 a radio ministry aired over live broadcast on WEXY 1520 A.M., this aired each Sunday from12:00 noon until 1:00 pm.
The Youth Empowerment System (YES) was established on March 4, 1995.
Choirs One and Two merged to become the Senior Choir.
He was elected President of the Pompano Christian Clergymen’s Council in March of 1996.
He implemented the Thursday Night Midweek Service to give the young preachers the opportunity to preach.
He implemented the Wednesday Noon Day Prayer Service.
He initiated Mt. Calvary as a site for the Gateway Food Program.
The second edition of the New Members Training Class Manual was generated.
The Brotherhood was reorganized.
The Aaron and Hur Committee (Pastor’s Aide) was organized in January of 1996.
Reverend Dixon served as pastor until he resigned in
2003.
